Im watching Hostel on sky movies premier tonight, but ive heard its really sick and gory, will it be cut for TV(the gory stuff)? Because that would be really crap as i think if films were made gory, they should stay gory it takes away from the expierence.

I think it will be fine, due to it being on Sky.. if it was on Channel 4 or something similar.. it would be edited I think.

Sky rarely if ever cut films on the movie channels.

As has already been said, it's not overly graphic anyway, a lot is off screen.

Not a lot of it is visually gory, but the screams put a chill down my spin and made me feel a little ill in places :o

i thought it was ok, wasent really gory, except the eye bit and blowtorch

SPoilers:

But its a bit confusing, what was the whole point in that place where there all tortured, and how was the hostel they were staying at anything to do with it? And the bloke they meet on the train who he kills at the end?

SPOILERS

I think the building was a place where rich people could come and torture and kill people for fun. The ultimate kick.

The hostel was used to lure the victims so that they could be kidnapped and used in the torture place. The girls were paid to lure the boys to be kidnapped. I don't know if everyone involved in the hostel is privy to what goes on or not but I assume they are.

The bloke they meet on the train is a person that has paid to torture and kill someone in the building. He tortures and kills Paxtons friend and then leaves to go home again. Although, i'm not sure where Paxton realises he is involved since he didn't see his friend getting killed. He probably saw him in the building somewhere, I can't remember.

I thought that was pretty much a given?

(Rubbish movie anyway...)

Well he asked and I haven't seen it for a while. You're right though, it's not a great movie.

When Paxton first gets lured into the building the girl takes him to the room where his mate is getting 'operated' on by the 'eat things with my hands' guy.

I thought the first film was ok, no more than that really, but ive heard far better things about the squel. Apparently you get to see loads more sick stuff, and things are explained in a far better way.

Anything that makes this film shorter is a bonus. It's just poor.

Agreed, I came away from this film feeling very disappionted from all the hype it got pre-release.

tho the eye bit was a nice touch.

Watched saw 3 at the weekend and that was 10 times better than this.
