I'm looking to host a company website, it's a medium sized site using asp. There's no shopping cart stuff, just courses and dates handled by a database. It's currently hosted on a windows server.

Would I need to keep it on a windows server and if so who's best/most reliable. It's a small company so hosting doesn't want to be excessively expensive (however much that might be) :)

Any suggestions?

Do you know what type of database the site uses (MySQL, Access, etc), and what sort of scripting language it uses? (ASP, PHP, Perl, etc) - Those will affect whether or not it needs Windows hosting :)

Yes it will need to be a Windows based host. You can get .ASP on Linux servers with a plugin but its not going to be anywhere near as good.

Chris.
