Hi Folks

Currently our external web servers / exchange server etc are hosted on a external DNS server.

The 3rd party who currently manages this for is us are discontinuing the service, so we need to bring this in-house and become responsible for our external namespace.

Can someone recommended a Distro for hosting a DNS server? We are a Windows server house, however I understand that linux DNS is more secure?

Cheers

Debian (not based on anything) or CentOS (Based on redhat enterprise linux) should do you fine.
Use BIND for dns.. you can configure bind with webmin if your confused.
