The 192.168.xxx.xxx (also 10.xxx.xxx.xxx and others) are private address ranges and cannot be routed on the Internet. You need the address from the WAN side. You can setup something called a "dynamic DNS" service which is esentially a domain name for your public IP. A service runs on your computer which sends a heartbeat to the Dynamic DNS service updating your current IP address, this can be useful if it changes as it occasionally does unless it's static. Some routers also have the built in feature to send the heartbeat rather than running a service on your computer.
