Hey guys, been trying to play a bit of GOW online with some friends etc but having a few problems, seems to work perfectly fine with 2 - 4 players but adding just 1 more (taknig the players to 5) it completely craps out and there's terrible lag and everyone is DC after a minute or so.

I run the 360 through a network bridge on my pc which is then connected to my wireless router (but all connected by ethernet). My D/S is 4MB and U/S is 400kb I thought this would have been enough to host 6 - 8 players without much problem, even when I used to play HALO 1 over lan tunnel I could host more players than this smoothly and that was on 256k U/S with a game that was meant to be played over LAN.

What is everyone else's experience of hosting live games? Any tips would be appreciated. Or do I just need more U/S? :(

I have never had a problem hosting 7mb/512k.

Make sure your network is not running any applications that could be using your bandwidth (obvious answer I know) as sometimes I get caught out by iTunes auto downloading podcasts.

there was nothing else going on with the network, checked my pc and other connected and there was data transfer showing on lan/wlan on the router... hmmm
