Watched Hot fuzz last night, I went into the cinema not expecting much but after a slow-ish start the film just went into overdrive, and I bet I missed a lot of gags due to how fast it was moving and how hard I was left laughing.
That was one of the funniest films I've watched in a while. The ref: to so many films was genius. I'll not say, as if you haven't watched this, then do so. It is excellent, and it is worth watching again, just to see what gags I missed.
IMO it is perhaps one of the better brit com movies I've seen for a while, and one of the best brit movies to come along for a while as well. Be interesting to see how the film does when released in the states next month.
