Tell her it isn't California or Arizona she lives in. I have yet to see a house which is better looking due to the addition of a Hot Tub / Jacuzzi etc (whether Inside or Out)

Also - tell her does she fancy swimming around in other peoples dirt / bacteria for half an hour or more....
As they aren't really designed for washing in - and as they aren't chlorinated - those germs aren't going to be going anywhere quickly, especially with the added bubbles to help them thrive ;)

Most importantly - you will hardly ever use it as it's just too much hassle to fill and wastes a huge amount of space in a house that could be put to far better use.

Above is utter tosh.

We use ours about once a week way more than the pool. It's very relaxing great to talk to people who cant be distracted by there phones, or just chill out listening to music.

Your have no issue with germs if you use correct chemical's in the correct way.

Get some 14% liquid chlorine, bicarbonate of soda, decent brand test sticks (5 way or more) and a download a app on the phone to remind measure dosage . Read up on TPF forum about what spa chem's really are then buy raw ingredients of ebay for cheap.

When you drain it every 3 months or soon if heavy use, throw in some biocide and a heavy chlorine does.

Only thing to watch out for i soap in peoples clothes, makes it bubble over that's the biggest pain. Go reason to get the girls naked though .. but your married shame ;)
