I'll be heading to Wembley in a couple of weeks time and I'm looking to book a couple of rooms for our family stay.

I'm not very familiar with London region at all, so I'll appreciate any help with accommodations in and around Wembley region between 23rd to the 26th November.

I'm looking for a couple of rooms?
A double for my parents and a twin for my brother and I - I don't mind if family size room is available/cheaper/alternative.

We're there to watch Muse perform at Wembley Arena, dine and sight see London - so all we want is good beds for sleeping and perhaps Breakfast? The "Cheaper" the better...

thanks.

The Fox & Goose is not bad, the rooms are basic but comfortable & it's only a short drive from Wembley, only problem is the pub itself can be a bit rough some nights.
The Grims Dyke is excellent, probably a bit expensive though.
The Bridge Hotel is ok too, & the pub isn't that rough. It's a bit further away but it's right on the A40 so good access to both Wembley (15 mins) & London (30 mins).
There's a Travelodge just up the A40 from The Bridge which is probably your best bet. The restaurant is good, there's a Starvin Marvins American diner next to it & I think they do family rooms too :)

Don't stay in Wembley, it's a hole with a (nearly finished) fantastic stadium and arena. You should find somewhere around Marylebone/Baker St and head out on the Met Line to Wembley on the Met Line. You'll be close to central London, not staying in a dump and a short (15-20 mins) train ride from Baker St.

If you must stay in Wembley there's a Travel Inn not far from the Arena and Wembley Park station. It's a bog standard cheap hotel but it'll be reasonably comfortable and clean.

Saw a few hotels there, yea, a tat over budget.

Looks like the travelodge at Park Royal is the leading contender for now... any more suggessions? I'm not even sure about the bearings, I'll be relying on the Sat Nav for directions when I reach london...

If you're going to do any amount of site seeing, go for somewhere more central. Wembley is a serious hole... it'd be like being a tourist and getting a hotel in Peckham tbh.

im from around the area. Premier Lodge is literally next to wembley park station, and about 5 minutes walk from the arena. From memory they charge roughly £55 a night. Theres a small hotel down the road from premier lodge, can't remember what its called at the mo, and they charge £30 a night. It looks crap from the outside though, and its not a hotel as such, more a converted house, but im sure thats the cheapest you'll find. Theres also the plaza which use to be the hilton, thats within spitting distance of the arena.

I stayed at the Park Royal travelodge a month or so back.

There's a Nando's and other restaurant type places across the dual carriageway, but the tube into central london is a swine, it took ages!

Hmm, I never knew there's so many negative view of Wembley... On one part it is making me more curious and want to stay at a hotel near there and on the other part, some have brought up about bad area - i.e. crimes and such?

Got a car to travel abouts, so public transit isn't an issue, unless parking in and around is horrible?

It is a dive but there's no need to actually stay in Wembley & the 4 places I mentioned aren't and are just a short drive away. They're not in stunning areas but unless you want to pay a premium you won't get that in & around London. The parking in Wembley for the concert won't be a problem, London is a different matter though as mentioned but you should get the tube in to town anyway and avoid the rush hours when you do.
There's also a Premier Travel Inn just off the A40 which is actually what I thought was the Travel Lodge so the description for that applies:)

All the negative views on Wembley have me wondering whether these people have actually visited or whether its 'things they've heard' and also whether there getting confused with the areas surrounding wembley? Some of the areas around Wembley may not be that great, but theres nothing wrong with Wembley itself. Can think of a lot worse areas in London.

Any chance you can tell me how "bad/good" the Wembley/arena surrounding is? From these posts, I get a feeling it's very bad and might be rigged with crimes.

crime in wembly in normal for london. what we are trying to say is wembly itself is a dump something like doncaster or someother town like that. You really should stay somewhere near the west end. Try islington , close and is not a bad place.
