Hotfix and Optimiser

Hey does anyone fancy giving me some advice on the MS hotfix and AMD optimiser for the X2's

I have the thread from xs:

I have downloaded everything i need - i think:

AMD Dual core drivers

MS Hotfix

AMD Dual core optimiser


Right mainly when i go to install the drivers it says the old ones must be uninstalled - fair enough but i just want confirmation that this isn't going to mess up my windows install ?

And whether or not it is quite safe to carry out this routine ?

Basically all i need to know is this what i uninstall from the add/remove programs - 'Athlon 64 Processor Driver' ?

And if i do will i then have to install the new drivers from the amd site straight away

thanks mate that seems a better thread than the XS one, but as already mentioned am i alright to delete that item in the add/remove programs
