Hotmail crashing IE7 BETA3

Anyone else having problems getting to their hotmail? The page loads fine for me, but once i have logged in and gone into my inbox it lock IE7 up after about 1-2 seconds. There is a blank banner space at the top of the page which i'm guessing is the cause of the problem but i can't be sure. Seems very weird as hotmail was working fine about 1-2 hours ago when i last checked, which is why i am thinking they might have put a new banner up which is causing the problems.
 
Oops i should have mentioned that it was also doing this in Beta 2 (literally just upgraded to IE7.3 in the hopes it would fix the problem).
 
Happening here in IE 6 on two machines with different accounts.

It appears to be the Messenger sign-in which goes on towards the top of the page.

It works fine is Firefox, but that seems to skip over the Messenger intergration.

Although...I have disabled the Windows Live Messenger plugin in IE...
 
Strange, i have the messenger plugin disabled also in IE7, i just installed Firefox and that is working just fine, but IE7 just keeps crashing with 100% cpu load everytime.

Ah well, i'll just stick with FF for a bit i guess, i don't like the interface so much, but at least it works lol.

I am pretty much convinced it's the Orange banner ads that are doing it.
