Hotmail Plus

Hey all,
Anybody use hotmail plus?

Im looking for a web based mail account as Im off travelling for a year and interested in this as it says on the site it can be intergrated into outlook (taking my laptop with me).

Is it worth it , are there any better alternatives?
I dont mind paying a few quid a year for it.

Gmail is good and can be integrated into outlook with no problems and it is free.

Last time I checked you couldn't synch contacts and calendar from Gmail to Outlook. Is it possible now?

Not even sure if Hotmail plus will sync contacts. I thought Hotmail plus just gives you extra storage and no need to sign in once every 30 days.

You'll need outlook Live for full sync of email, contacts and calendar. I guess you'll need the atleast contacts sync for areas where you have no web access. And if you lose/break you laptop you'll have it all sync'd online.

He is right unfortunately, you can import and export contacts, but you can synchronise them automatically
