Hotmail webpage cannot be found.

Hey guys, bare with me im on a 3ds lol. i am having trouble with all my pc's / internet devices in the house, i have ruled out spyware due to the fact the webpage does not respond on this 3ds as well. also did a virus scan and everything was clear on laptop. Now all other webpages load fine but msn messenger and login.live.com as well as hotmail.com all dont respond, i have a bt homehub 2.0 and have also disconnected power for 5 minutes and reconnected i still have the same issue. havent done a factory reset yet though. i read somewhere it could be to do with mtu settings but i think the homehub has fixed mtu. i've never had this problem before and it only started happening after i finished a remote assist with a friend. im stuck please help.

I cant either with my homehub 3.0 I have factory reset it and its still the same. have tried with 4 pcs and I cant get Hotmail or messenger to work.

Has this just happened recently or is it an ongoing problem? You could try a ping to www.hotmail.com - or an nslookup shows their address as 94.245.116.17 - 157.55.0.135. Try pinging those and see what you get.

mine happened last night and it still is happening.
I get timeout if I ping hotmail.com but is fine if I ping hotmail.co.uk but I cannot access it via either site or log into msn. I can use every other page fine though.
have just tried to log in to msn and my friends house (who is also with BT) and the same problem. hopefully when I get to work it will be ok.

Sounds like a DNS error on BT's network

Yeah,would have been BT's DNS broke. Happens all the time apparently.
