House address not showing in address list?

Hi,

So our address doesn't come up when we type the post code in.

All sites like virgin media checker, compare supermarket etc.. won't find address, some of these won't let us manually type address in.

The landlord/company say it is in royal mail database when you manually type it.

It is if it's manually types but no other sites are picking it up, the royal mail checker won't automatically pick it up from the post code either.

How on earth do we fix this?

Is it a relatively new build house? As i do know from previous experience, new builds tend to take a short while to be recognized on such data bases.

We've been having similar issues recently with our new build.

You can request your address is added to the RM database on the RM website. Takes a few days.

Over time as you keep buying stuff it magnetises to all the sites in a short space of time. I have been at our site for six years now and it was only approx. a year till the websites had it there like you want it now.

for my post code some of the house numbers like me are totally out of order in the list and aren't where you would expect to see it it the number order

Even if it's showing up on the Royal Mail website it still takes time depending on the website and what geolocation/address API provider they use and how up to date they are.
