House cleaners

I'm cleaning my house before my niece comes over tomorrow.

I'm doing the full spring clean thing, i.e. moving stuff and getting right behind it and dusting etc.

There's so much filth.

Are there companies you can call and they'll come and do all this for you?
Would you trust them?
Do you think I could get someone today?
Any idea how much it would cost?

hmmmmk i would say there would probobly be some in your surounding area but could be a bit late to get them to do it try the yellow pages or something you could just do it your self though just think they could nick something when your not looking not saying they would just they could.

Depends on house size they would come and quote but a proper 'spring clean' with carpets and curtains and everthing could be £200-£500 depending on number of rooms. This would be a team and they would bring their own equipment. Weekly cleans could be about £7/h/person with a reputable company but obviously will cover less ground than a full 'spring clean'.

Prices will vary with company and area.

Try Yell but try to pick a larger outfit for a big clean they will have insurance and should be confident enough in their people that they won't half inch anything.

I'll be on the look out myself soon, we'll get a Spring clean and then a regular cleaner for a few hours every week just to keep on top of things.

Problem is theres always at least one room in the house full of junk and it moves about

Id recommend a couple of east european women ie like polish as they seem to have a monopoly on cleaning houses here...never know they might clean something else of yours if your lucky
