Right I hope this is a simple request.

I have recently moved into a new house (previously in a flat so everything in one room) and the missus doesn't want cables all over the place so I have decided the best solution would be to split my lan that I had in the old flat consisting of the following:

Speedtouch 610 asdl router -> Linksys WRT54GS Wireless router -> Netgear 1GB switch

then to the switch I had the PC and 360 connected to it and then wirelessly MiniMac and Wii.

So I am changing ISP's to virgin (20MB package) as I am not going to get the great speeds I had with Bulldog approx (22MB) so I have decided the easiest thing to do is split the LAN and have the following:

Downstairs:

Linksys WRT54GS with 360 (wired) and wii (wireless) connected to it

Upstairs:

Netgear 1GB Switch with PC and miniMac connected to it.

Now the problem is getting something that will connect the two halves of the network up.

Now i know that I need an Ethernet to Wireless bridge but what would the best product be for me.

should I stick with a linksys product or should I look at getting a product from a different manufacturer.

any help would be great.

Products that I have already seen that may do the job are:

Linksys WET54G
Belkin F5D7330UK
Netgear WG602

would these be able to do what I want before I purchase them.

Thanks in advance.

From a purely simplistic pov Power Line or as you're moving in lift the floorboards and run cable, it's not that hard and you only need ever see a faceplate in the room where the Mac & PC are... You could also use wifi on the mac mini and PC but in order of stability/preference: Wired> Power Line> Wifi.
