House renovation - in what order?

I'm planning a house renovation and having a hard time working out in which order to get things done.

The house needs new radiators throughout; most of the sockets and light switches need moving; all the walls and ceilings will need to be skimmed and skirting, architraves, doors and floorboards will be replaced.

In what order would you do things?

NB. Currently all the walls have been stripped back, new windows are being fitted in the coming weeks and I've got a bunch of new radiators to be fitted - some direct replacements, some are moves and changes.

Thanks for all the input - very interesting to read peoples opinions on all of this.

General consensus would seem to be the following order:

1. Electrics/First fix
2. Pipework for plumbing
3. Floorboards
4. Skimming
5. Painting/First coat
6. Skirting/Architrave/Doors
7. Electrics/Second fix
8. Hang radiators

I think that makes sense to me, just need to get it all arranged now...
