Housing officer interview

She could try researching Renaissance literature, it will give her something to talk about at the interview. ;)

Or failing that how about housing benefit regulations, tenants rights and responsibilities, the local authorities procedures for allocating social housing etc. :D

Documentation is king, she can say all she likes but she needs to back it up with letters and receipts.

I work for a Council.

She needs to look at the job specification and then flesh out personal specific examples of experience relating to each point on the specification. A vague understanding of the actual job is a plus but not essential.

If I was you, I would be looking at drawing up a list of potential quesstions for her to answer. Same as any job really.

What Mitzy said above.

To be prepared she needs to think of examples to demonstrate her transferable skills in relation to the job spec.
