OK. Got last night as usual. Switched on my pc.
Went down stairs, for dinner, cig. Went back up and PC was stuck on the bios screen with "b4" at the bottom. restarted went for a cig and chat.
Came to the PC and was at the windows log in screen. screen went black and it took about 5 mins to log in. It was painfully slow.
Down loaded as ssd but that froze on the detection screen.

After a couple of reboots it was back to normalish.

Win 764bit
Samsung 256gb brought in 2012
asrock extreme 6 z77

Would be the controller or the HDD?

Computer was fine on Sunday. The only different find i did on sunday was a virus scan. To installations at all.

could be cold boot issue, usually ram voltage/setting related

what is b4 error code in your boards manual?

I've had instances of this were the error just goes away (other peoples machines anyway) ... I would check for a BIOS update anyway and check also the USB Legacy support is activated..

:eek:Gentlemen I salute you.

When unplug my reader I noticed that it came out to easy.
Unplugged and and tested. Fine.
Plugged all back Fine.
I was thinking that it was my Aivia KB
Now how that came to be, well that for the X-files.....

Once again THANKS.
