How many of the team you support results have you got right? If you do a forum search for silverpaw then you can go back through all the threads and make a note of how well your doing.

Aston Villa 0 - 2 Liverpool Correct Result
Liverpool 1-1 Chelsea Exact Result
Sunderland 0-2 Liverpool Exact Result
Liverpool 2-0 Derby Correct Result
Portsmouth 1-2 Liverpool Wrong
Liverpool 1-0 Birmingham Wrong
Wigan 0-1 Liverpool Exact Result
Liverpool 1-0 Tottenham Wrong
Everton 0-1 Liverpool Correct Result

So if your willing to work out how many points your on and post it here i'm willing to maintain the table. You don't need to do it like I did, I just found it easier to paste all my predictions first then add them up.
 
This is purely for the team you support and how well you predict the results of that team ignoring all other predictions. I just thought it might interesting for people to see if they are actually any good at predicting their own teams results or if their opinions are clouded by bias.

It was just something I thought about this morning while I was bored.
 
Interesting idea. I generally tend to be pessimistic when predicting the team I support, but then this season my team has been doing even worse than that. I'll have a look to see how my predictions have fared.

Here is my outcome:
week 1 predicted draw, outcome defeat
week 2 predicted win, outcome win
week 3 predicted draw, outcome defeat
week 4 predicted win, outcome draw
week 5 predicted draw, outcome defeat
week 6 predicted win, outcome draw
week 7 predicted win, outcome draw
week 8 predicted defeat, outcome draw
week 9 predicted draw, outcome defeat
week 10 predicted defeat, outcome defeat with correct score
week 11 predicted draw, outcome draw with correct score
week 12 predicted win, outcome win

so in summary my performance is 12 / 2 / 2 / 8

Up to week 9, I was an appalling 9 / 1 / 0 / 1

Must do better.

In fairness, it's not like you were overconfident, your team should have actually been doing that well.

The problem with predicting your own team is that it can be clouded with pessimism at times, I've only predicted Chelsea to win 4 times :eek::p
