My wifes mate wants to borrow our camcorder so last night I opened up a brand new tape, put it in and pressed play.
I was greeted by a dark scene and then a noose. Three people followed and at this point I got the lead out and put it through the TV.
Me and the wife then started to watch it and it became clear somebody had filmed a 'ghost' trip of sorts.
About 10 mins later a school play came on and I recognised nobody. Later a christmas scene where this family are giving out presents and then about 5 mins from the end of the 'new' tape was a bedroom scene where the couple are going at it hammer and tongues.
How the hell did this get into a box set of 5 new tapes?

Yes, 3 pack bought from Tesco (however they could have been bought from Tunisia last year).

I always press play on blank tapes. For some reason I can't trust them to be at the start so I press PLAY and then leave my finger on the REWIND button.
I always did the same with blank video tapes but I've got 4 hard drive recorders in the house now.

In the past I have loaned camcorders out to friends and I know they're going to record their bedroom activities. I always warn them to make sure they record over what they've done.
Three times I've had my camcorder back and they've left some of the scenes on

I am many things but a liar I am not because I have too bad a memory to tell lies.
I always play blank tapes and rewind them to the start whether they are camcorder or video tapes.

I could easily post any crap and say that was on the film.
However the truth is that the camcorder is with the woman who wanted to borrow it and the tape in question as probably got a school play on it now.
When I get it back it will probably have some of the old footage on but if you read my post I wound the tape back before the bedroom scene and recorded over it.
I could make something up though.
