how accurate are touch screen monitors?

Hey peoples,

I am going to be using photoshop a lot this year and I have a graphics tablet, but I just can't use it.. I need to see what I'm drawing.

that got me thinking.. with windows 8 out soon too.. are touch screen monitors as accurate as graphics tabs? and are they compatible with most programs? 3ds max... photoshop etc...?

Depending on your budget, you would be best off getting something like the Wacom Cintiq. They're far better than any finder touch monitor you could get.
