Hey guys,

My setup is up and running, running very well actually.

My issue is AfterBurner. My temps on idle and under gaming load (dont stress test as I dont see the point as I run my CPU / GPU stock), are very very low..

Idle example in AB, all that is running, is Chrome, mail, itunes and steam..

I have a 360m rad for the CPU, which is a stock 8700K..

Any input welcome guys! Cheers.

27c is not unrealistic at idle. What does it go to under load? Try incoding a video using Handbrake to make CPU work hard. :D

The most intesive game I have tried that I own is probably Battlefield 5 on 64 man multi-player conquest..

It gets to a peak of 66c when flat out on the GPU and the CPU is around low to mid 50's...

That good! Nothing at all to worry about. If memory serves GTX 1080 doesn't throttle until about 84c and think 8700k TJ Max is 100c but I wouldn't run it above 75-80c and you are well below both limits.

Thanks doyll. Thats good to know. Its just a big change from my temps on my old case. I cant believe hwo much of a difference that my new cooler and case has made. Thats why I thought there was an issue LOL!

Indeed! Case with good airflow and a good cooler make a huge difference. It's all about supplying cool air to a decent sized tower cooler. ;) Sorry, I don't remember what you even have. :o

I changed my cooler to a 360mm AIO. and my case is the Lian-Li O11-DX tower. Love, love, love this case!

Lian Li make good case, better for H2O than air. Which 360mm AIO did you get?

Yeah, I remember back in the day, Lian-Li were the dogs for quality!

I went for a DeepCool Castle 360 AIO. Lovely looking cooler and so far performing really really well!
