I have an Asus Pundit P1-AH2 Barebone, want to upgrade the CPU to an AMD X2 4800 65NM/65W, but the lazy guys at asus have not updated the BIOS yet to add support for it, so anyone out there know how to add support for this cpu to the bios?, can you not just edit the bios add a few strings of code to it?.., anyone have any experience of this?

Doubt very much you could do that, but if you know the model number of the mobo used in the barebone system then you can grab the bios for that board :)

Juding by the spec id say its a M2NPV-VM :)

Should say on the mobo itself :)
