I think it's probably a product of political motivated promotion rather than being particularly good or ground breaking style.
It sounds like a Western watered down version of an original African sound. Growing up in Peckham i can certainly appreciate it

I'm sure it'll be around for a few months.

I must have been lucky the first time flicked through it and landed on the good house vibe bits, when i left it playing some of the (avant-garde jazz style) random sounds and samples kept ruining it with WTF! moments.

Doesn't go anywhere. Listened to the first video...saw people sitting, standing, on their phones....just all seems rather monotonous to me. Not quite the 'you have to get up and move' from the article.
