How Amapiano took over the world

I think it's probably a product of political motivated promotion rather than being particularly good or ground breaking style.
It sounds like a Western watered down version of an original African sound. Growing up in Peckham i can certainly appreciate it :p
I'm sure it'll be around for a few months.

I must have been lucky the first time flicked through it and landed on the good house vibe bits, when i left it playing some of the (avant-garde jazz style) random sounds and samples kept ruining it with WTF! moments. :D

Doesn't go anywhere. Listened to the first video...saw people sitting, standing, on their phones....just all seems rather monotonous to me. Not quite the 'you have to get up and move' from the article.
