How are these line stats?

Im on ADSL Max and sync at around 8mb, just wanted someone to check these stats..

Line Attenuation:

Downstream 21dB
Upstream 5.5dB

Noise Margin:

Downstream 6dB
Upstream 29dB

This is mine, i get the full speed you can get.

My line has a attenuation of 55

Max sync I get is 4800

They are very similar to mine:

Downstream Margin : 9 db
Upstream Margin : 23 db

Downstream Line Attenuation : 22
Upstream Line Attenuation : 13

I get the full 8128 sync.

No idea what any of it means!

If your posting your line stats guys, dont forget to post your sync speeds - its hard to say if its good or bad without them.

ie 2272/288 or 8128/448 etc

My attenuation is something like 15/5.5. I sync at near 23mbit. Be rocks

Nice stats, wont have too much headroom on ADSL2+ but should get around 12-13Mb.

Your stats are similar to GazD's, not too much margin to play with on ADSL2+

What about my line with ADSL2+? Currently on ADSL Max with Zen and i sync at 8128/448.

My stats again....

Nice, that's a pretty good speed for a fairly high attenuation. I'm looking forward to moving into my new place - cable is installed and it's literally metres from the exchange - mate who lives nearby has an 8dB attenuation. I then just have to decide whether to stay on Virgin cable or go to Be, Bulldog or Sky - all LLU options are available at my exchange

Yeah, Im only about 1km from the exchange so i can only think that my line goes around in circles before it gets there.

Those stats are from Be* with an ADSL filtered faceplate and a DG834N
