I've got a mouse on order that will be coming with the logitech unifying receiver which I'll be leaving in the laptop. What I'm not clear on though is how I avoid any other nearby devices from pairing with the receiver automatically?

I will not be installing any of the logitech software on the laptop as I only want the receiver to work for this single device.

Cheers!

Hey up,

They won't pair unless you start the unifying receiver app and then physically switch off and then back on your other devices when prompted to by the unifying app. You have nothing to worry about.

I would also suggest you install the logi software as it's useful for customising certain features of the mouse and also for notification when the batteries are low.

Hope that helps,
