Windows 8 is great but for desktops it's barely an improvement over 7.

Sorry if I'm wrong in what I am saying, I've got Windows installed and some "desktop" programs. I just had a play on the store and I did not know just how bad it was. Maybe that's harsh.

I really think Windows 8 should have been Desktop and of had a "touch version" for tablets/mobiles. I honestly thought when you install software you can use the store and it would be central (like linuxs software managers) and you can multi-click say 4 programs and mass install and they update together and it'd be awesome but it's tabletware on a desktop.

Another thing is you get 2 versions of each software about when I install desktop programs they should auto-install the stores too.

Anyway there's a great program well two one is ninlite.com it has a bunch of programs you pick and mass install then you can update all together.

Second was classic start I use mainly and I will keep the start screen for games/fullscreen use.

Actually I take back the touch bussiness as you can remote from a touch to a desktop and get touchscreen laptops/comps.

Still who uses the store and what for, is it useful?
