Picture the scene, humour me, if you will.

I have bought a gift for my partner for Christmas which I thought we could share when we go over to Prague. You know, for a bit of bath time hankey pankey.

It's this:

Basically, a nice thing you put in a bath and it turns it into a gel full of scent. Fully gay, but relaxing none the less.

However, open said gift, and it looks like this:

Should I be prepared to take one of these to save them the hassle?

Ahaha. Well played OP.

I'd imagine at worst they'll ask a dog to sniff it, he'll look disinterested and you'll be free to go.
 
LOL! I was on a field trip to spain in uni, and had to bring soil samples back in the hand luggage, some of them were white.... man that was hard to explain!
 
Just put it in the hold luggage (more stuff) and keep it in the box! Likely won't look as suspicious as you'd look carrying it in your bag when that gets scanned.

they get X-Ray scanned and most airports have radiation detectors and explosives "sniffers" too. you should be just fine.

you think you might have difficulty with white powder? i'm trying to arrange for the safe passage of a radioactive watch! :p
 
indeed. they're actually not that radioactive at all, with a maximum radiation dose emission when new of about 25 milliCuries, which is equal to background radiation, so it's effectively doubling your daily dose of background radiation.
