It's absolutely perfect (although I do prefer the rosewood fretboards of the 60s)! Would snatch it up straight away if I had that sort of money lying around. Definitely the best looking guitar.

1958 Strat.

You can get a squire one that looks virtually identical for about £150 :p

But it's not the same! :p

A big part of the fascination for me is the fact that it's 50+ years old.

I don't think I'd ever buy a brand new guitar again. I got my Fender Strat new about 10 years ago and it's nice, but it doesn't interest me as much as one from the 60s would for example. I know that sounds odd!

It's just beautiful.

I Hate Les Pauls, i think slash ruined them for me. Black ones are nice but thats about it.

I do like the Gibson Firebird...

where's the character? you may aswell buy a brand new one.

if i was buying a 50's strat, i'd want it scratched and peeling!

Has it ever been let out in 50 years?
It should be scratched and knocked to bits.

Yeah I do agree. I'd prefer a worn one as well, like John Frusciante's 62 Strat. I absolutely love the look of it.

It's just extremely rare to find one like this though.
