Hi everyone.

I got Oblivion when it first came out, and after a few weeks, got very bored with it. I would have to point the finger at, yes you guessed it, the level/scaling system.

I'm thinking of starting over, but want to mod the game. I would love to know how you guys play the game, what mods you use, and how it benefits your experience.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Thanks guys.

I NEVER use fast travel and just do EVERY quest I come across. I also spend ages exploring everywhere and raiding dungeons.

I used to do this when I first started, but the boredom set in as I never seemed to get anything juicy from the chests... the highlight was raiding a gold mine, and finding the occassional gold nugget!

Don't get me wrong, I really like the game, it could do with a little tweak here and there. I need to seriously look at the Mods out there, and try to tailor it for my own needs... I guess that is the beauty of the game, it has an amazing community of dedicated modders, who try and cater for everything.

I guess the level/scale system works for some, I'm just not one of them. I'm more than happy to take a good kicking from time to time, providing the reward is huge! I just never seemed to get that feeling of a 'job worth doing' in this game.

I will re-install this game, with the OOO Mod, and perhaps a few others, and try again... never say die, and all that!
