How better is a Nvidia GTX 670 then an ATI 6950

Sorry for the noob question but I have an ATI 6950 2Gb card that I was going to give to a friend , she has a Nvidia GTX 670 card and was wondering if mu old card is better or worse then her current card ?

I am thinking the Nvidia is the better card ? but by how much ?

lol oh no I have just upgraded to a ATI 7950 and have the 6950 going spare so was thinking it might be better then hers as we both do not have a clue

I didn't think there was much in it between a 7950 and a 670? A 670 is quicker out of the box but an overclocked 7950 can be pretty rapid, as mine is.

With current drivers they are about on par now.

Read up on things or test your own 7950 or 670 before posting something demeaning.
