How big a heatsink can you fit in a Fractal design R2/R3

I think the R2 and R3 are the same size.

If anyone has one of these cases with a big cooler installed would you let me know.

I am looking at a cooler which is 166mm and I want to be sure it will fit.

The R3 supports 165mm

So how accurate is the height of the cooler your looking at?

It is accurate, it is Helios's Nzxt Havik.

I am wondering how accurate fractals measurements are the ~ makes me wonder whether it will take 166!

Its only 1mm, so even if the side panel goes on, it will just be touching a little bit, also a few peeps have measured the heights of thier Silver Arrows for example and found a few differences against the claimed specs.

It's the fans that make the cooler 166mm but the fans are installed using rubber adapters so even if the side case panel press on the top of the fans, it will only push them slightly. The heatsink itself is 160mm tall so won't have any issues.
