How big is my 17" tft is to a 20" widescreen

as ask above , i saw what as ment to be the Belinea 20.1" model but the panel looked no bigger than the one used on my 17" laptop which is fraction bigger than my normal 17" tft , has any gpt any pics of a 17" normal and 20" widescreen side by side and 1 in front of each other thanks .

about 3" bigger...

sorry couldnt resist, but yeh widescreen will mean you will see a huge amount more than previous, i moved from 17inch, to dual 17inch , to 19" and finally moving to 20.1" widescreen and its big :eek:

i want to know aswell. i assume the height would stay the same and width will be longer.

Well, a 19" WS TFT is approx 19 wide and the viewable screen is approx 10.5 inches high! A 17" TFT is approx 10 inches high.

Yeah its slightly more height (very slight), but a hell of a lot more on the sides.
