I've never really fallen for the itunes revolution, preferring to keep my CD's off my hard drive and buy physical copies off almost all media.

I have just past my 2G iphone on to the missus and she wants to put all our music on it so I've started burning it all to itunes. :p

As of about 15 minutes ago i'm at around 6gb and can't imagine ever filling a 160gb ipod :(

So i'm curious, how big's your music collection? :D

About 295 gig last time i peeked at it.

Mine's apple lossless, but i also have the CD's to go with it. I don't download music unless it's a download only song or something that's not available physically.

143.82GB - 296 Albums.

All of that is in lossless - and is also sitting on the shelf behind me. All lossless ripped CDs.

Sorry, I don't believe you have bought 295gig of music - no way in hell.

195 albums which is about ~40GB @192kbps, but I'll be re-ripping my collection to FLAC in the near future.

213GB

38 albums 1.4gb on itunes, ~3gb on computer. I dont listen to much/update my music often enough as you can probably tell.

Just 16GB on this computer.

However, that doesn't include all the DVDs full of mp3s that I've burned off, my record collection, my CDs and the shedloads of old cassettes that I have.

According to iTunes:
12,001 tracks
1007 albums
807 artists
37 days, 6 hours, 56 minutes, 14 seconds
69.32Gb.

According to windows: 108Gb. Although i dont think iTunes counts my podcasts and videos in its overall listings.
All of it is at least 160kbps, most of it 192kbps+. MP3 for compatibility as everything works with MP3s.
