Online storage but for 600Gb of data that will take time and money. Most logical option would be to get another external hard drive, make another backup on that and only ever use it to update your backups.

Can't really help with that one as I don't use online storage, I've got 3.5TB of hard drives to fill first :P
If your with Virgin Media you get 10GB free storage with them.

If you can break the data down into smaller chunks, then DVDR is pretty good :)

I tend to use a mix of multip hard drives (internal and external), and DVDR's :)

if you already have them on your internal hdd, external hdd, and on multiple dvd's, i wouldn't be too worried!

The chance of losing all at the same time are pretty slim.

Yeh Windows Live has got a 50mb per file limit so would take me a long time to split everything up lol, I have copied them to DVD+RW as thats all i have, I agree i may be backed up enough but if there are other alternatives i will do that.
I may order a 160gb hdd and back it up to that and send it to a relative, Just in case.

you must have some serious files you need to protect there! lol. I hear you can hire an ex-SAS guard for about £1000 p/week?

Issue with that though is if you keep them all in the same place and get burgled / have a fire / flood etc you'll lose the originals and backups all at once.
