Right then gents, first time in this sub forum, so please be kind.

I have a Denon 2803 Surrond Receiver, which is my main audi device in the front room. Coupled to this i have a rather good 37" Panasonic CRT, which has one RGB Scart, and two S/Video Scart inputs.

For my input devices I have one Panasonic DVD player, Virgin V+ box, and a Nintendo Wii.

My problem is that all three of the input devices have RGB output, yet my amp has Component Inputs and S-Video. What is the best way to get the amp to do the Video switching as well as the Audio.

At present V+ uses RGB in on the TV, DVD uses S-Video on the second scart, and the Wii uses the third scart in composite input.

Help Me Please.

Cheers

Unfortunately if you want high quality switching you'd have to buy an RGB SCART -> Component convertor for each input going into the amp. Otherwise you're left with S-Video which isn't great in comparison.

Why not just buy a SCART switch box and have them all RGB into the TV? Not as convenient but higher quality and much cheaper :)

As above, getting all your video through the amp is far more hassle and expense than it is worth and your best bet is to have all your sources connecting to a scart switch that outputs to the TV and letting your amp handle the audio.

This will give you the additional benefit of allowing all your sources to use the TV's speakers if you don't fancy turning your amp on.
