How can I boot a game off a memory stick?

I have an old Halo game on a memory stick that dosen't need to be installed on the machine your using. How is this done? I would like to do it with MTA:SA if it's possible the size dosen't really matter as I have a 16GB memory stick. Can someone link me to a tutorial or something! Thanks

just click on the *.exe file ?

For what end? USB2 is much slower than an internal HDD. Loading times will be poor and you'll be putting unnecessary wear on your drive. Most games will also technically need to be installed, though many will run without any problems just copying the program files. I think you'll have less success with newer games.

Fair enough but it's not for constant use on my main PC just the occasional session on my work PC.
