How can I convert my movie to flash format?

I have an AVI home made movie and would like to convert it to the flash movie format, is there a cheap way to do this please. I have used sorenson squeeze but it leaves there logo on the video. I am trying to do streaming video from my web site. Any help would be appreciated.

post the file and ill make it into a flash file this evening when I get home, your best bet is to use flash 7 or 8 to do it, but i doubt you have either so I can do it for you if you wish

The free Riva FLV Encoder can do this for you. Not sure if it has any watermarks or the like, but I've used it to decode FLV files to other formats without any problems whatsoever.

(Digging up the oldies!)

Riva worked wonderfully to convert to FLV, but how do we encase that video on a website using Flash (such as YouTube or Google Video do, I think). Basically we need the web page to have it's own player so people don't have to download anything. If that makes any sense.

Flash would be fine because everyone has Flash.

OS FLV is nice an simple.

You can build your own if you own a copy of the Flash authoring tool, it's very easy and there are lots of tutorials out there.

JW Player and Flowplayer are the two I would recommend (in that order).
