How can I copy from console

This is probably a stupid question but I have been running a command from console and haven't added any > C:\log.txt etc.

Now some of the text is hidden when I scroll up - is there any way I can copy the full console history and paste it from clipboard? I need to retrieve the contents of that window before it closes!

It's gone once it runs past the configured Buffer Size.
