Two choices:
1. use a wireless bridge to turn your TV into a wireless capable device
2. Use cables with powerline adapters at each end.
I prefer option 1 and it’s what you described you wanted.

If the TV doesn't have Wi-Fi then it's likely quite old and the smart apps will run poorly or won't be updated any more. For what a powerline adaptor is going to cost you could buy a Fire TV stick and ignore any built-in apps.
