I've bought a Lenovo Q180 Nettop PC but I'm ideally wanting to swap out the existing 750GB mechanical drive with an SSD for faster boot times!

What I'm wondering is, how can I find out whether the motherboard in it is SATA II or III??

I can't seem to see anything about it in the specs anywhere???

I have looked around the net for the last 20 minutes as well and I cant find anything
about the SATA port controller either.

What I would say to you is play it safe and get a SATA II SSD, because even if it is a
SATA III then you will still notice the Nettop fly anyway with a SSD. I did notice though
that you can only install upto a 128Gb SSD. Unless I read it wrong since I have been up
for the last 17 hours, Damb night shift lol.

Thanks for the replies guys!

I think I'll play it safe and go for SATA II and probably only a 30GB or 60GB as I really don't need it for anything other than Windows 7 and XBMC as all of my other media is stored on my NAS!

How much space does the usual Windows 7 install take up??
