How can I find out what forks my Hornet has?

Long story, but a while back, my Hornet's left fork got completely destroyed. The bike has been sitting in the garage since then, unused, which is a shame as it's an '05 with 30k miles, so still perfectly usable, I even have a full new caliper and caliper seal kit, new pads and the rear tyre is almost new.

It needs a left fork, which is rather specific and doesn't come up on eBay often, at least not for an acceptable price.

Is there any way I can find out the spec of the fork that's on there and see if it was used on other bikes? I've seen the exact fork a few times on other bikes in terms of shape/mounting points etc. but no idea if the spec inside is the same.

It's a 2005 Honda Hornet F4.

Thanks.

Dead easy way - find a parts fiche/list (the exploded diagram) for your bike, it'll have a Honda Part number against it. Google the part number and it'll bring up parts websites, and it'll show the other bikes it's also fitted to.

Should take about 5 mins max to find the info :)

I gave that a go on Fowler's, but they list all the parts (seals etc.) of the fork separately :(

Part 18, fork assembly.

Part number 51500-MBZ-K32, which is used on the following bikes http://www.bike-parts-honda.com/microfiches-recherche_piece-51500-MBZ-K32.html

Only the Hornet by the looks of it.

And on Fowlers: https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts/view/51500MBZK32
