I wonder if anyone can help me.
I've made a 1080p slideshow from photos I took at a friends wedding using Fotomagico. The quality is great but when I try and burn the QT movie to DVD, no matter what settings I use the quality is awful.
Just to make it clear, I'm not trying to get HD playback like the QT movie is in but I'm trying to work out how to get the compression to still look nice once converted to standard def - like regular DVD's. They look nice and sharp so I need to know how to get that SD crispness that I am currently lacking.
Even if I produce a low res Quicktime movie from Fotomagico then burn that, it looks awful with a lack of sharpness and compression artifacts in places.
HELP!! I really want to get this on to DVD so I can give it as a gift to my friend
Its also worth pointing out I have full access at work to Final Cut Pro etc so if there is something in there that will help, maybe importing the HD movie then exporting it back out as SD, I can give that a go if its the way forward?
