My next door neighbours laptop has been infested with virii, and much to my chargrin the hidden restore partition is also corrupt. 
(and needless to say, mr & mrs Joe and Joan Bloggs ignored the advice from HP to create a restore disc when they first got the machine....)
I have tried without luck to find some way to order an XP Pro recovery disc from HP but every link I click either doesn't work or the page content differs wildly from the instructions on the previous page.
1)How the heck can I order a recovery disc from HP UK?
2)Will I be able to copy the contents of the recovery disc over to the recovery partition to allow them to be able to use the F11 on boot function to be able to restore the system at will?
