Basically that I want 3 screens but only have 2 ports on my card. Can i used an extender of something came someone point me out to one thanks.

^ is the only way to go if you want the screens to display different images.

If you want at least two of them to display the same (cloned) display then you can use a splitter.

cheapest option would be to throw in a simple PCI (not PCI-e) card into one of ur spare slots (assuming that ur limitation is PCI-e/AGP slots not being available).

the basic answer to your question is you can not except by using a splitter and that will still only give you 2 seperate screens with a 3rd simply a copy of one of the other 2.
Adding a second video card is an option if you have spare slots

With either a Triple head to go or any "5" series ATI card you can have 3 seperate screens but hardware costs will quickly mount with either option.

Like in a folding rig can i put another card in there but not in Crossfire?

EDIT: And I have a spare PCI-E slot just not bothered about having another 4890 unless someone wants to give me one!!?
