how can i keep track of threads i create or post in easily?

i see "watched threads" at the top but when i click it nothing comes up but i've just made a few threads in the hardware section cos im building a new pc, would like to be able to see them all in one place!

sorry if im being silly or if this isnt the place to ask! thanks!

it just says "You are not watching any threads."

I see the watch thread button at the top now! do i have to click that each time?

i'll have to go back to all my threads and click the watch button at the top i think ! i thought it would do it on its own ha ha

ive just clicked watch on them now they appear i guess i have to do that every time. thanks

thanks acme there was a check box in there to automatically watch all threads i post in! thats what im used to from other forums !

i was wondering about the mafia theme ha ha

i dont watch those sorts of movies or shwos though so i dont know who any of the people are ! i just recognise the say hello to my little friend guy!

i put this in the wrong thread ha ha

i have fixed it now there is a button on the alert dropdown with alert preferences !
that combined with the bit above has got things how i like !

has the forum changed by the way? i was last here 5 years ago and it looks mostly the same but menus and stuff seem very unfamilliar ...

ooh i know this one ha ha

the little envelope on the left in the watched thread list click that and it will take you to unread its yellow if there have been new posts or gray if not !

remember that from when i was here last time it hasnt changed
