Hi I need to lend someone my 1TB External USB Drive. Only want them to access the MP3 folder no other.

How can I do this please.

I am using XP Pro SP3.

with truecrypt, if i password a USB drive on my PC and then plug it in to another PC that doesnt have truecrypt installed,

can i still get to my files?

does it ask for a password ?

or is it just not readable ?

thanks

yes but I need something so it is on my external drive. So that if I lend it to them they can only access certain folders on the external drive. I won't be with them or the HD. So it needs certain folders locked.

:p I can just see the exe being truecrypted and you can't access the exe to untruecrypt it to untruecrypt the stick.. have to create two partitions maybe?

i would guess you have to leave a small part uncrypted so that you can get to the .exe

just been playing around with this, its very clever. loving it so far.
