How can i put HTML inside of an email!!

Been searching forever now, its either not there or im stupid and can't find it.

I use thunderbird and am starting a new mini business and need an attractive HTML template for my emails with company logo etc...

I have tried making and downloading HTML templates, opening them in dreamweaver, and coping and pasting the code but that doesnt work.

Is it just thunderbird thats rubbish or am i doing something wrong?

Any help will be appreciated.

Are you trying to send out newsletters or are you just trying to tart up your day-to-day emails?

If your sending out newsletter en-mass then you are best off using something that has been designed for this purpose - MailChimp is meant to be a quite good pay service - else you could use something like PHPMailer if you know how to set it up.

If its just your day-to-day emails I would suggest forgetting setting up a template and just using a signature.
