How can I put videos onto my jailbroken iPad?

I have some wmv files I'd like to put on my iPad to view. How can this be done?

Downloaded AVplayerHD, seemd to do the job fine.

If it is jailbroken than definitely use xbmc instead of AVplayerHD. It uses the GPU so a lot better on battery life and on AVplayerHD 1080p videos didn't play well however on xbmc perfectly smooth, can't recommend it enough!

I thought I could only use XBMC to watch video's hosted on my home machine rather than have them save locally on the iPad?

What I do is import them in via AVPlayerHD and then get xbmc to look at the folder they are stored in. I don't know if that is the best way of doing it but works for me!

Protube is handy if what you want happens to be on youtube.

iFile over wifi can be used to transfer WMV's also
