Hi am having problems installing a new Bluetooth adaptor.
I need to remove all the old BT drivers, before I install the new ones, but when I remove them from the device manager they come back again on reboot.

Does anyone have a good step by step to remove them so I can to a clean install of my new BT drives.
Thanks.

Install device and let it use the driver that you wish to use and then navigate to Device Manager and select it....

....the example above will show my BenQ monitor driver which I could remove and if I tick the box shown it will then delete the driver.

Another way might be to note the name of the driver and then remove the device and then pop along to....

C:\Windows\System32\drivers

to remove it manually, taking great care.

....but I have rarely needed to do that and so can't comment on how reliable that is.

Thanks for the advice. I need to remove the old drivers as installing new bluetooth drivers with old has caused problems, for me and many others readying various forums.
